Tooth Bonding

Tooth bonding refers to dental bonding (also known as composite bonding) in which a tooth-colored resin is applied to your teeth. Your tooth bonding is then cured with a special light.

A high-intensity light will be used to cure the bonding.
Your bonding can last up to 10 to 15 years. Although some people have some stains around their bonding after a year or two, with proper care you probably will only need to get it touched up after three to five years.
To maintain your teeth bonding you need to make sure you visit your dentist regularly for professional cleanings. Be sure to brush and floss carefully, and avoid sweets or starchy foods, especially between meals. Also, you should use gentle tools and toothpastes, because harsh toothpastes or hard toothbrushes will dull the shine on your cosmetic bonding.
