Dentures & Partials
in Gulfport, Biloxi & Pascagoula, Mississippi
If you are missing most or all of your teeth, you may want to consider getting a denture to replace your full set of upper or lower teeth. Dentures are removable appliances which fit comfortably and snugly onto your upper or lower gums. Your dentures will help you eat and speak better than you can with some or all of your teeth missing, as well as fill out your face and improve your smile.
If you choose to get a complete denture, you will need to have any of your remaining natural teeth extracted so that the complete denture will fit onto your complete gum.
If you only have a few teeth missing, you might only need a partial denture, which is anchored to your existing teeth. Partial dentures will fill in gaps in your teeth, while allowing you to retain your remaining natural teeth.
Another option for your dentures may be using them in combination with implant dentistry to anchor your dentures to your jawbone for more stability. Dr. Elenbaas and/or Dr. Alexander may recommend dental implants instead of dentures for you depending on your situation.
