Oral surgery
refers to any surgery performed on your mouth. The most common type of oral surgery is wisdom teeth removal.When you come into our office for your check-up, we will complete xrays to determine your oral situation. If it is determined that you need oral surgery and we are able to complete in office, we do offer IV (intravenous) sedation. If it is determined you need oral surgery by a medical professional outside our clinic, Dr. Elenbaas and Dr. Alexander will need a referral to accept your case. Some people have poorly positioned wisdom teeth and will need to be referred to an oral surgeon.
