Orthodontics

Orthodontics is the area of dentistry involved in straightening your teeth and treating problems related to the growth and development of your jaws. Most orthodontics involves the use of traditional metal braces which consist of metal or ceramic brackets which are bonded to your teeth, and arch wires that are threaded through your brackets.

Another type of orthodontic treatment is ClearCorrect which consists of clear plastic trays that are molded to fit your teeth and slowly move them into position with each new tray. Please see our section about ClearCorrect.

Dr. Elenbaas and Dr. Alexander at Beach View Dental are experienced in providing you with orthodontic care through the use of ClearCorrect. If for some reason you are found not to be a candidate for ClearCorrect orthodontics, orthodontist Dr. Elenbaas will refer you to another orthodontist, since we are very fortunate to have many fantastic orthodontists in our area.
